I got a VIS OEM hood, for some reason it won't close properly. The left side is higher than the right side, I have already tried adjusting the bump stops but nothing. I also have an AEM CAI and i am wondering if that is causing it to close improperly. I'll see if I can post pics. Someone please help me

My bad, but admit it, you wanted the VIS. People have had problems with the Fiber Images products too. VIS is that bad, I havent had any problems.
By the way Fly, dropped off some parts to get the molds made. All 6 pillars, rear deckand trunk for starts. I know you dont want the trunk, but the the rear deck and pillars will be ready in about a month. headliner is the works as well.

WOW! I had one in my car and came so close to getting a mold made. IT WILL BE DONE. But I have to get some pieces made from these molds first and get some of my money back. I dropped $3k on the molds today. WHOA! The whole interior will be available in CF within the next 6 months.........If everyone actually buys parts and not just talking.

most companies now a days throws so much ad into **** they become household names, the quality of their stuff can only be tell by people who actually brought them. i sure as hell don't trust **** from ads anymore

Ill have to say i shouldve paid less for my "so called" vis hood...
It looks fine but there are imperfections if you look closely..
Some are the hood on the left side where it meets the grille is like a half a centimeter higher than on the ride side. the weave is imperfect in tint spots...i think ive counted like 3 or 4...but otherwise its shiny and looks really nice...Im not sure if it was worh 447.75

ViS used to be quality before they got real popular and had to start mass producing their hoods. Thats when the price dropped and thats when the quality went out of the window. It's worth paying the extra few bucks for BKNW, DG etc. I just picked up this one company that specializes in CF. They make 2 really nice hoods for our car. Price is kinda steep. There is a Grade A hood and a AA. A is like $450-500, but fitment is really snug and nice. Rare these days.
EDIT-A is like $450-500, AA is like $550-600.
