hey rodscivic, my hood had the same problem, sat higher on one side dew to a wreck awile back, what I did was the shop where I bought it from took it to a body shop that does custom work and they got it to fit on the car, try taking it to a body shop that works with custom cars.

In general it can be assumed that if a company is gonna take the time and spend the money to use the higher K count then they will also take the time to produce the higher quality product. FI, DG, and Kaminari all use very high K count products, I have never heard of any problems with them.

VIS uses a low quality K count, they mass produce their hoods/trunks, so they don't put as much time into the fitment/quality of the product.

For example, my FI trunk that I ordered 2 weeks ago hasn't even been shipped to me because Fiber Images is still MAKING it. This item is not a premade product.

Im pretty sure they all use 5.7 oz 3k 2x2 twill. By the look of the weave, I can almost guarantee it. Im gonna email them and ask them so we can put this to rest.
