alright i did everything the diy said and at the end the light blinked like it said it would, but when i plugged everything back in and turned the ignition on to make sure the light didn't come on again and the damn thing was back on! WTF? help me out! thanks.

i was gonna say find the diy on it but you obviously allready did that so i dont know what to say, maybe try it again, or find out where the source of the problem is retrace your steps make sure theres no sensor wires grounding themselves out, make sure everything is where is should be and go through the steps again, i know its kinda a pain in the *** but theres not a lot else to try

I followed the steps, and on the DIY it says "I had to do it 3 times"...that's because it's actually required!

after the third time, the light goes out and the system is reset. I just did this last weekend.

did you plug your seat back in

and i got it on the first try, so i dont think you have to do it 3 times
