ok.. so far, i've read different stories on installing the header, now i have an EX first of all. i got all the other bolts off from the head, but from which side do i unscrew the bottom end. Do i unscrew the nuts on the header side, or do i unscrew the screws from the underside first... please help..

you have to go under the car and undo the two spring bolts holding the stock manifold together. when you're done, put the new header on and bolt it to the head. then put back on the two spring bolts that you took off from under the car. make sure you push the down pipe up when you're tighening the spring bolts or else the fit wont be tight.

also.. the spring bolts are 16 lbs.ft only... dont overtorque. its easy to snap it.

same goes for the top nuts... they're easy to overtorque.. 23-27 lbs I believe, search the fourm, I've posted the specs before.

besides pushing the downpipe up as you tighten the spring bolts, alternate your tightening.. from left bolt to the right bolt.. so it'll fit firmly... its important cuz its easy to have that part leaking out exhaust.

and er.. I'm sure you're doing this when the car is cool... dont want to burn urself.

lol.. thanks for the replies guys... so now i'm running into another prob.. the kamikazi header i bought from bigjoshracing didn't come with bolts... so i have nothing to screw the spring bolts to... what should i do? i think i might have to go down to home depot with the bolts and find some nuts that fit them...
