OK so the swirly air is better for the fine mist that the injectors spray? I think someone fell asleep in physics class. The power increase your feeling is the same one I feel after I wash my car and it's all shiny. I swear the car goes faster and handles better. Maybe there is less aerodynamic drag since the cleaner smoother car would create a more laminar flow. Or maybe it's all in your brain. Of course the propeller went faster...the air is going in a circle DUHHHHH. probably in the opposite direction of the blades of the propeller causing greater force to be applied to the fins therefore causing it to go faster. You could make the propeller go even faster by making the tube smaller...therefore increasing the speed of the air but not increasing the volume of air. Does that mean if I replace my intake with a drinking straw that increases the speed of the air (but obviously not the amount) that I'll get more power? I swear some people would buy poop if marketed correctly.

This is rather pointless. Use a real dyno. Measure with and without. Then you have something to talk about.

As for the speed limiter. It is built into the ECU programming. You can either change the programming or buy a programmable ECU.

But seriously, why would you do this to drive 140 miles per hour on the freeway?

^^^ the answer to that question is obvious

1. people who have seen other people die going that fast
2. people who have almost died going that fast
3. people who have lost control and lost their car going that fast
4. people who killed others going that fast

Speed is ok, under one condition, and one condition only.

SAFETY PERSONNEL WHO KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING ARE ON SITE.

If they're not there, you're as good as dead. You wanna go fast? Sell the Honda, buy a piece of domesticrap, and take it to the track.

(yeah right. i'm not spending the money to show you what a dumbass you are) and there is a change of HP in the positive. i have 4 friends that have purchased the spiral max, and i've ridden in all their cars/trucks before and after installation. let me tell you,(smart guy) it made a noticable difference when the throttle is mashed!! but talk all the crap you want, you always do. you never have anything good to say, just negitive input. (or is it output) don't buy the "POS mod," i wouldn't want you to change your high intelect and superior knowledge of cars.

dude you crack me up, id almost be willing to pay for the dyno you prove your noob *** wrong, but see, i know it wont do jack, if it did, i think just about any serious person about getting HP would have one,

Why can't you just take the honda to the track? I have beaten many domestic crap cars on an autox course. The civic might not be a super accelerator...but once you get up to speed you don't have to slow it down as much.

If those things saved so much mpg and made so much hp why wouldnt car company's have been making something similar for all the production cars.

no, what's wrong with you? the auto industry doesn't want their cars to last for ever. they like your car to brake, or in this case, not run at peak performance. and most of those CEO's at the auto industry have stocks in oil. that would cost them money also. if i had a car company, i wouldn' t put these in my cars.

oops, missed the thread.

Pretty much everything has been said: Illegal, unsafe, and I doubt that anyone here knows a diy.
