I'm approaching 20K and haven't had any service done besides oil changing...
and pumping my tires...
is there anything that i should seriously check now or replace? i need some help.... i dont want to pay the ridiculous $300 fee just to have them inspect my car and find the problems...i'd rather take it to some reputable mechanic and tell him specifically what to check...with your help of course

first of all , check your honda manual and see what service is needed at 20k, pay the money for a full inspection, better to have them find something and fix it now rather than later when the car is not under warrenty.
