cant get off drum cover

does anyone know what the best way of getting off the drum cover to access the rear brakes. i know if it gets stuck you're supposed to hit it with a hammer, but i kept hitting it for a while and still its not getting any loose.

Try releasing the handbrake!! Then wiggle it side to side . Then tap on different partsof the inner rim of the drum!

isnt there two screw holes you can put screws in to help push off the drum... I know there are ones on the front rotors.

I probably remove 3 or 4 sets of drum brake covers a day and never had a problem with it so far. Just gotta hit it right on the edge at the right angle with a good amount of force. Don't be afraid to take a good whack at it if it's being stubborn...very hard to mess it up. Oh yah...you probably already know this...but I hope you're using a RUBBER mallet, hehe.

Lol im pretty sure its a 6mm stud that u use and u put them in the two holes on the drum that have threads... when you evenly tighten them it pops the drum off.
