Lightbulb Shifting into 2nd

I have a 99 SI with a skunk2 shifter. It has trouble shifting into 2nd gear when it is cold out. There is an APS synthetic transmission fluid that I put in, thinking that it would help, but it didn't seem to do much. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Shifting into 2nd

go into 3rd?
what do you mean trouble? does it just not wanna go into gear at all?, or is it just slow/difficult to get into the gear, but it does go with effort?

Re: Shifting into 2nd

I wouldent use anything but honda trans fluid unless your transmission is fully built. honda transmissions have different tolerences than other makes and you can really screw it up if you use random shelf fluid. i would put OEM honda trans fluid. 100 bucks says it works fine after.
