Something dragging underneath

I think I hit/ran something over, nothing I saw or even felt, but was able to feel and hear something dragging and saw this underneath when I went to inspect my car. Was able to drive home ok, any idea what this is?

It's probably just a splash shield. What year Civic do you have?

lift it and inspect
there might still be some body parts left over.

or take to a shop if you can't even lift it.
