I have a 1995 Civic CX and last week it just wouldn't start. The engine turns over perfectly but the car just won't fire.

It seems like I tried just about everything. The battery is good, alternator is good, got new spark plug wires, got new spark plugs, fuel pump is engauging, I am getting spark from the plugs. Theres lots of compression, I just had work done with the motor a month ago.

Also about 5 days before the car stopped starting up all together, the two middle cylinders weren't firing. Thats when I changed the spark plugs and wires but that didn't work. I was going to bring it to a mechanic but then it wouldn't start at all so I am kind of stuck now. Also another thing that seems odd is that when I pump the gas when trying to start the car, the two middle cylinders seem to flood a lot while not much gas gets on the numbers 1 and 2 cylinders.

If anyone has had similar trouble I knows of what I could try to get it working it would be greatly appreciated.

is it smoking? if the cylinders are getting flooded might be bad injectors or seals first thing i would do is a compression test or leakdown test

^^^ correct. Also check your timing if its running rough. It seems like your getting to much gas and its flooding the car.
