Best gas mileage I've ever recorded was this weekend driving from North Carolina to New Jersey all highway made 380 miles and when I filled up it only let me fill 9.22 gallons so I could have easily made 400 miles on a tank. I have crower stage 2 cam AEM V2 and HP header/test pipe and megan exhaust. I drove 75-80mph the whole way.

06 lx sedan. got some 9,000 miles on it. I just bought it from a used car dealership. I got something like 23-24mpg. 250-300 miles per tank. that's mostly city driving with highways on weekends.

Best I've gotten is 38mpg(mostly highway coming back from the lake) and farthest is 430 miles to the tank.
01 Lx 5spd K&N filter, Magnaflow cat-back, 17s, and a 2 12s in the trunk.

I keep records of everything with the civic. I regularly get 37+ mpg in the winter. In the summer 44. On three ocasions I've gotten 50 mpg (honest). Each time it was nonstop 270 highway miles. My driving is old man easy, 55 at most, no passengers, 80% highway.

04 dx coupe, MT, 40k on car, AEM SRI, iridium plugs, no other engine mods

summer, i seem to average 32 mpg, got 39 mpg once on the way down to NJ, with some use of a/c. this winter, i've been getting ~26-30, not sure why. maybe i'm using more gas letting the car idle for 10 minutes to warm up.

automatic transmission
farthest I've pushed a tank was 579.4 miles, and it took 12.149 gallons to fill (47.652 MPG)
best MPG to date is 50.164 MPG
my daily commute is 90% Highway, and I drive 50-55mph.

I track my stats each tank, and my average MPG over 26,500 miles is 42.671 MPG

03 EX Sedan with snow tires,

Was only getting around 28 mpg this winter (all highway miles). Then I remembered my last oil change was from a mechanic I had never been to before. Had the oil changed again, made sure 5W30 was put in, and now I'm getting 35mpg (all highway again).

The oil you use makes a difference. Using the thinner 5W20 will probably give a few more mpg's. Also, I've found that a dirty air filter will also kill your gas mileage.

Best Mileage

I have an 06 LX with about 35K miles. I've gotten 550 miles on a tank, all highway driving. With a mixture of city and highway, or even mostly (80-90%) city driving, I have never gotten below 400.

My mpg sucks. Most I've gotten out of a full tank is about 330 miles and thats after topping off and going 10+ miles after gas light went on, but I do 90% city. Another reason why I wish I had manual.
