Hello! I'm SE7ENZEROTWO!
I'm currently a no namer youtuber with a passion for cars. I have exactly zero hands on experience with cars and with this honda, that's going to change! It needs lots of love, and I will be active on this forum. I sincerely hope that you enjoy the progress on the car over the time and check up on it!
Today on 4/1/2020, I purchased this 1996 Civic DX 4D (d16y8, 5 speed manual). Got it for 2k out the door, after talking the no name used car dealer down to waive the tax, tag, title, and dealer fee. I haven't driven a manual since I was 13 in my Dad's 1980's Trans AM (currently 26) and ended up learning how to shift into first within 2-3 minutes and 1-5 within 10 minutes. Now I'm able to get from point A to B ungracefully without stalling. Still scared to put it in reverse, though. I need more practice with the trans.
Right now, my immediate goals are to remove the tint (it's a hazard right now) and that hideous wing on the trunk.
The oil is going to be changed, the trans fluid should probably be changed too.
Right now, my goals are in phases.
Phase 1: -Get the car into tip top running shape.
Phase 2: Focus on basic bolt-ons and aim for a good street setup.
-Intake
-Exhaust
-Manifold
-Tune
Phase 3: (If it gets to this)
-Vitara/Eagle rod build ebay turbo at 12psi. OR LS4 FWD swap.

I'm not sure where to put car updates since I'm still exploring the forums.
All I've done so far was remove the Big **** and most of the rear window tint since the tint is bad and is currently a driving hazard. It's currently getting a new gas tank due to a leak that caused a few gallons to spill onto the asphalt infront of my house since I filled it up for the first time.
It looks alot better without the rice burning wing.

I thought of that exact spoiler too, but I think I'm just going to fill in the holes when I do a rattle can paint job. I feel like the shape would be off with that on a 4 door.
