Hey - Whats the best way to fix stone chips on the hood

Hey everyone

I've consulted this site quite alot since I bought my civic in 01, but this is really my first post. Anyway I was waxing my car and I noticed that there is alot of stone chips on the hood. I did the paint cleaner, polish and wax process and that got rid of all the swrills and scratches. I used touch up paint from the dealer (not the stick but the bottle) and I applied it with a tooth pic (a site search told me that useing the tooth pic would have a greater outcome than using the brush). My question is do I have any other options to fix the deeper stone chips (from highway driving), other than doing a total hood paint job?

Thanks

P.S.

Sorry that I didn't post any pics.
