HID kit question.

i got 2 noob questions, but i cant seem to search it.

1) Will an 02 civic lamp housing be affected with the HID bulb's temperature (8000k)??

2) If the Hid were installed, will the hi-beam be normal halogen lighting? The bulb size is H4 btw.

1. that's color temperature, not physical temperature
2.depends what HID you get. single, no high beam. bi-xenon comes in both halogen and HID for the high beam.

Re: HID kit question.

hid actually burns a bit cooler than halogen. the temperature will not be an issue. the only issue you are going to have is light output. to put it nicely, its gonna suck
