yeah they are H1's the wire i was talking about is the grounding one... but its not welded inside the bulb

just to clarify, the ground wire is attached to the headlight housing, not the bulb. the wire that attaches to the back of the bulb is the power wire.

but it doesnt matter anyway, they will still light up. the one wire is for the middle of the bulb, and the ground of housing touches outside of bulb through housing.

i know incandescent light doesn't care about polarity. i was saying it from a safety standpoint. you don't want power sitting on a large exposed bare metal surface. possibly feeding back through the adjustment screws and grounding out while adjusting, etc.

sorry to jack ur thread a little by one of my nokya bulbs just went out last night. that was my poor mans alternative to HIDs and it just blew out. my high beams worked but low beams only the passenger side would turn on. i decided to drive around anyway and like 10 mins later it just turned back on... lol. i duno wat that means.
