Rep Power: 394 I love it! I think I'm going to get the TYC projectors. My plan is to sell my stock headlights to a body shop for $250, I think they'll go for that since the stock headlights cost $300.
How much did you pay for yours?
Where did you get them?
Do they take different bulbs than the stock headlights?
Which is high beam, low beam, parking lights, turn signal?
Why is there a hole in the big reflector? Strobe light upgrade?
How are they with H.I.D.?
Does H.I.D. produce more heat than stock bulbs? Less heat?
Anything else I need to know before I get these?

How much did you pay for yours? TOTAL PROJECTOR WITH THE HID KIT ALMOST $700
Where did you get them? PROJECTORS FROM INTERNET HID FROM LOCAL STORE IN BELLEVUE
Do they take different bulbs than the stock headlights? FOR LOW BEAM THEY ARE USING H1 BULBS
Which is high beam, low beam, parking lights, turn signal? THE PROJECTORS INCLUDE LOWBEAM H1, HIGHH BEAM H3 I THINK AND PARKING LIGHTS REGULAR PEANUT BULBS
Why is there a hole in the big reflector? Strobe light upgrade? I GUESS THAT IS FOR VENTILATION .. SO UR HEADLIGHTS WONT FOGGED UP..
How are they with H.I.D.? NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LIKE BMW X5,AUDI'S HID
Does H.I.D. produce more heat than stock bulbs? Less heat? UMM MY FRIEND TOLD ME HID PRODUCE LESS HEAT
Anything else I need to know before I get these? UMM I THINK U SHOULD ASK SOMEBODY ELSE CUZ FOR ME THESE HEADLIGHTS AND THE HID KIT ARE AWESOME!!!

Rep Power: 0 Awsome job Marux!!!!!!!
Those things are sweet!
I would also like to know where you got them, and for how much.
I still like the look of my cleared out lights, but those things are
insane.
I'm really impressed.
I may just have to get some if the price is right.
that is such a sweet setup.
HID and projectors (and maybe strobes..hehe) time to start saving up.
Grey: HID is suppose to consume less energy than stock bulbs,
they are suppose to last longer, and they are suppose to produce less heat.
Marux: do you have high beams with your HID? or is that what the other circle is for?
(the circle next to the upper grill)
once again Great job.
you get x2 = ( ) and 1 from me!

Rep Power: 0 yeah grey, hid produces less heat because the light is not produced by burning a filiment which also leads to a longer bulb life. my projectors are in the mail. i don't think i have enough money for hid yet though. we'll have to see. i am hoping the projectors will look good on my inca civic w/ carbon fiber hood. i think it will blend well but am a little nervous

Rep Power: 0 Can you post pics of the beam pattern from inside your car looking out? I wanna see if it has a sharp cutoff or if you have alot of stray light. I also have HID's on my car, but i was afraid the light would go nuts with projectors. Please post some more pics..!!!

Rep Power: 0 i forgot to ask another thing!
projectors usually just have one plug that goes to your stock, and then it powers both of the headlights that way, now, did you have to rig it a bit? and how?

Rep Power: 0 Nice, but the pictures don't really tell much about the intensity of the HID. You need to take a picture of the road from the inside.

Rep Power: 0 I'm planning on doing the same setup, but I think I'll separate the switch for HID and high beam, hook up the high beam and other lights to the normal headlight switches, and then custom made a switch for your HID either right next to the steering wheel (where the mirror adjustment control is) or down next to the power outlet.
because HID need constant power(need time to warm up and and reach full intensity) and can't "blink" like normal halogen does, so I think it's better to hook it up with a constant source of power and separate the switch, so whenever u blink the high beam nothing will happen to your HID.
our cars will disable power from low beam whenever we hit the high beam and that's bad if you want to hook it up to HID, your low beam will have to be restarted often and that's bad for the HID bulb life
hope this helps (most of it is still in theory) haven't had the chance to try it yet, still need to test the headlight assembly before doing my next move.
