Yellow Ebay Fogs

i remember there was, i think a sticky, on ebay fog light sellers (good or bad) but couldn't find it.

Ebay Seller is motorenergy
Yellow foglights 01-03

well just got them in today. I might try and instal it after class but not sure. So far here are my thoughts. The package was shipped ups and took like 1 week to recieve it. The fog light box that it came with was not in good shape. Opening the box it fell into two pieces (not really a good sign if you ask me). Some pieces like screws and lock nuts weren't in a bag and were lying on the bottom of the box. It makes me wonder if im missing any pieces. Looking at the fogs at some angles it looks clear some angles it looks blue and then some yellow. Is that the same w/ laminx? It came w/ bulbs but im switching that for nokya yellows. The harness is cheap already one of the connectors fell off. Theres no manual and im not even sure how to wire this thing up.

I will post some more when ever I have time to do the install. So far im not satisfied w/ the foglights but if everything installs fine then itll be worth the $47.98 total spent (19.00 for fogs and 30.00 for shipping. stupid ebay.)

Ill be using LakeLandCivic's thread as reference. The guide is for 05 civic but hopefully the process will be the same for 01-03 civics

well the power wire that goes to the fuse box does not fit (the right side connector). Also the connector fell off. Cheap *** **** . Not sure what to do now i was thinking about splicing into the cigarette lighter (power and ground). Would that be okay?

how did the fog's fit into the opening? i'm looking at your pic and my 02 ES1 and the part to cut out of the bumper is much smaller than the fogs shown.

just found this install guide for an 01:

http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic/CIVIC01FOG.pdf

it shows a template so you know where to cut. did yours come with that? or is it only with the genuine Honda kits?

well i just cut it since the foglights will cover it up. There's no template included.

well im happy w/ the looks. I think oem looks clean. The foglights fit nicely on my bumper. The only negative is the wire harness, the switch, and the output. Not really sure about the output yet cuz i havn't aimed them but so far they suck. i had to take apart the harness and re wire it b/c it was all wrong. I went ahead and ordered another switch for $20 b/c the switch will not fit where i want it too. In the end i got everything working so yeah im happy w/ them.
