Rep Power: 788 ya one wire is coming from battery to switch (power), then another from switch to power wire of device (load), then a ground to make the illumination work (ground). the switch will still work with no ground, it just wont light up.

Rep Power: 0 when you turn on the switch, it connects the power terminal to the load terminal and to the + side of the led in the switch. the other end of the led is connected to the ground terminal.

Rep Power: 788 ya a switch would be the equivalent of you cutting the power wire and when you want it to turn on, just touch the two sides together. its just a power interrupt so that your fogs dont get constant power and stay on all the time.
