need help on retrofit wire harness~~~

i recently bought a denso ballast with d2s bulbs, and a valeo h7 projector. i want to do this retrofit as soon as possible, but the wire harness i got from a guy wasn't the one i asked for. i was wondering if anyone here can make a wire harness for me, don't really feel like paying another 60 bucks to get them from suvlights.com. i have a tyc projector and 03 civic. rest of the stuff its the same as any of your car. so if you can help me make a harness i will be glad. thanks in advance

I can make you a dual relay headlight harness specific for your TYC's but it'll be cheaper + more experience if you make it on your own.

Buy the parts from partsexpress.com and I will teach you how to make it.

You'll need

1 male H4 adapter
2 Relays (Bosch type)
lots of wire (12 guage should be good)
shrinkwrap tubing
speaker terminals
silicon caulk (for electrical apps)
wire loom (optional...its to make the harness look clean and simple)

tools you'll need are soldering gun, soldering wire, and wire crimp tool.

you only need 1 h4 adaptor? don't you need 2 since i have 2 headlight. or that is just the parts for 1 wire harness?

well its only needed once as a trigger, then the harness splits into two sides.

hey where can i get the parts i need for the wire harness? i cant find the stuff on partsexpress.com and what would i need to connect the wire harness to the ballast? is there a plug just for it or i need to wire it.

and do i just need 1 h4 male for both headlight? what happen to the other one? just don't use it? and is 2 relay better than 1 relay?

Everything you need should be available on partsexpress.com

1 relay harness is for low beam (HID) only, which means you'll have to directly connect the high beams into the h4 socket.

2 relay harness is for low beam and high beam.

The point of the 2 relay harness is because when you flash your high beams the low beams turn off.
That means the HID will turn off when you high beam and go back on when you release the high beams.
When you flicker the high beams at the driver that just cut you off, the HIDs are being turned off and on numerous times at a short period of time.
HID do not like that because it causes more wear which leads to shorter life.

The 2 relay system will keep the low beams (HID) on even when you use the high beam.

You only need 1 male h4 socket.
The other one won't be used.

when i had my tyc on my care i used only one relay harness for low beam and high beam, make sure high beam connect straight to the stock high beam harness... when i flick my high beam it never turned off my lowbeam(hid)......reason cuz it depend where u connect your relay trigger wire...if u connect trigger wire to the common then u wont have this problem....

this is where the common plug at... all u hve to use is

common and high beam dont do anything with lowbeam

so basically only 1 of the h4 will be use, and the other one will just be not used correct?

so basically all i need is

1 male H4 adapter
2 Relays (Bosch type)
lots of wire (12 guage should be good)
shrinkwrap tubing
speaker terminals
silicon caulk (for electrical apps)
wire loom (optional...its to make the harness look clean and simple)

how many fuses do i need? i know one 25 for battery? do i need more for ballast or highbeams?
there are so many heatshrink tubing, like what size should i get , 1 inch? 1/16? let me know which is best size
is the 12 gauge wire, the speaker wire that sold in 50in a roll?
do i need the female speaker terminals or male?
what do i need to connect to the battery? something like this http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=095-672 ??
is silicon caulk just any silicon, like something i use to re seal my black out headlight?

like you said in previous post. i try to find the part using the search function, but seems like i cant find them. what catogory are they under. so i can find them eaiser lol.

so i guess i just follow the pic of 2 relay system in page 1. is it possible for you to give me some intruction on how to put it together. i kinda of get the rogue idea, but need some detail instructions. after all its my first time messing with wires.

ya u will be using only one h4 plug either side...
if u using two relay then u need two fuse.
now if u do two relay one for low beam and 2nd for the high beam i would connect low beam first hook it up to the common wire....best way to find which is common out of three female pulg is...if u connect to high beam then when u turn your lights on your high beam light will on even your high beam is not on...now if u connect it to the low beam then when u flick the high beam then your hid will be off and u dont want that so the 3rd plug is your common wire thats what u need to connect your low beam relay... for hid
middle one is your low beam...
