194 bulb replacement

yes, its another bulb replacement question. after searching around, i was unable to find a thread which describes how to replace the circular parking light bulb. i dont have an owners manual, so i cant rtfm.

do you replace it from underneath? take the headlamp assembly out? or do you just have to squeeze your hand in there with the ps fluid reservoir off the bracket out of the way?

I just wanted to add that i used a #168 bulb and it worked perfect. I checked the Philips website, Sylvania website, those computers at walmart, and also had the guy at AAP check their computers, all said #168, not #194. I searched back in earlier threads and some said 194, others 168, so im just throwing in my .02 on that subject.

168 is brighter than 194 I think a lot of mfr's are going to 168s. Trade off is it may fail sooner.

#2825 Euro bulbs are the brightest I have seen in the base style.

wow, i never knew it was that simple to change that little circular light.

it says to push the bulb back in, i thought touching the lense of the bulb will increase chances of blowing out?

theyre not halogen so dont worry about touching them. halogens produce much more heat than standard bulbs like these. When the oil from your skin gets on the bulb, it reduces their ability to dissipate heat, as well as creating hot spots on the bulb where the glass can stretch or get warped, and cause the bulb to burst.
