mine went out the other week, i replaced the bulb and checked the plug itself but it still isn't coming on. i would fidget it around a little and it would come on but then nothing...where do i go next?

Other brake lights working = fuse o.k. I would try cleaning the socket contacts and check the bulbs fit.

yeah i did the socket contact cleaning while fidgeting it....there is voltage going to the socket as well, as i pulled the new bulb while the brake was pressed and it arced a lil electricity....this is pissing me off hehe....

haha...turns out it was the bulb....technically the 5th bulb.....ok so here is what happened i noticed it was out, went to discount and bought some hyper white bulbs as that was all they had. i tried it at the store and it didn't work so i took them home to try them there, thats when i realized i could use the reverse lights as they were the same bulb type. i put one in and it came on and went back off....I replaced the two reverse lights with the hyper whites and went about my business as usual. yesterday I decided to check again. i pulled the new light and tapped it against my palm, i get a vibration, damn element blew in the second light, so i take the final of the original reverse lights and stick it in and problem solved....whole time I was thinking a wire was loose...

at least now I have some white reverse lights instead of that rosey color the enclosure is...
