For all those with OEM Style fog light problems!
This will be especially helpful for the people who have wanted to install fog lights but are scared of having problems. It is SUPER easy as long as you get the right kit. there are two that I know of on eBay. First I just bought a random set of fog lights from eBay figuring they where all the same. Well the set I bought turned out to have the wrong harness, AND the switch would only fit the location of the cruise control/ sunroof buttons UNLESS you have a 2001 which has a different hole for the switch above the center console. That would not work for me because I have a 2002 EX so the only spot I could put the switch was above the center console near the 12v power port. So I decided to take the risk and buy another set on eBay. This time I was on the lookout for differences, here are the differences that I noticed...
1 The 2001 set of fog lights has a totally different harness. The one you need is pictured

2 The area on the actual fog light surrounding the lens should be gloss black instead of textured.

3 The back of the light housing should be a brown color NOT gloss black
4 The wrong kit came with a switch (a REALLY crappy one) and with the correct kit I had to buy the switch from Honda.
The stuff that didn’t work for me was from this auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
Here are the good ones. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
Once I got these everything mounted right up and plugged right in.

PLEASE REMEMBER this was for a 2002 EX Coupe. The first set I bought could very well work with the 2001 but not likely with the 02-03
I hope I helped someone in need.

my 01 lx had no problems with the switch reaching to where the cruise control button is. but i did just install the power and ignition into 2 dist. blocks i installed behind the hu. much easier to install the power and ignition by splicing rather than using the harnesses.

This looks like exactly what I need BUT I can't get the pics to work and the ebay threads go to old expired items that I can not view.
Can anyone update this so I get the better fog lights for my 02 LX?

seeing how this thread is 1.5 years old, i seriously doubt you're going to get anyone to update it. OEM fogs are all over ebay. just search. anyone else is going to have to search just like you will.
