I don't know how many people want to see this, but I bought some Nokya hyper yellow bulbs(@2500k) and I must say that I am impressed with them and actually am really in Love. These are goin to tide me over until i can get some HID's...but for now these are plenty sexy for me.

fix it tickets start from 10-20+ for fees and/or fines depending how what violation is cited. and it is an infraction type violation.

Thats whats on the package.

I didn't have time to whip out my Kelvinator to get the exact output temp........
I have no clue how they get the temp numbers. Maybe out of a hat?
A cop can't ticket for DOT approved bulbs can they?

yea those yellow are 2500k. Any higher and they start turning white, then blue and purple white. I would stick with nokya. Their bulbs are actually very yellow compared to other imitators. Mine are still workin after 6 months.

Me and BOY_R_D actually purchased those Nokya's at the same time and when I put mine into the projector (TYC's), the light output on the ground was sucky. The projector lens itself looked crazy they way it lit up but they don't work good with TYC's just to let you guys know. I just threw them in my Hi Beams and use them there... I'm gonna get HIDs soon anyways.

I had yellow headlights (similar colour and brightness to Nokya) before my HID's and I loved them. In fact I still have the bulbs just in case the HID's die on me for any reason. My friend actually is on the hunt for some JDM yellow HID's for his NSX...apparently they're all the rage overseas.

MTEC considered imitator in this sense?

I've had good results with that brand. My first pair of blues lasted over a year, but my last pair lasted 4 months or so. My girls lasted about 6. And I got em for $15 each instead of $40+ for MTEC, etc. When the Eurodezigns blow out, they offer a lifetime warranty and they replace em for $7. Not a bad deal. I'll try to take some pics for comparison to the Nokya's The Chef posted. Looking great by the way man!
