Angry I messed up!!

I was going to paint my black tyc's the same color as my car so i popped them in the oven to take them apart. I did them just like i did my stock lights when i painted them black. I go outside for 3 minuets and come back to the oven an THE ****IN LIGHT MELTED. .

I'm so pissed off right now...

Holy crap, what temp did you set them at? I always tell people 350F. My friend set his at 350C (Damn digital display). Melted his EL headlight all over the freakin oven. Boooo....

I put it at 350 then i turned off the oven when i put the light in.

An the wierd thing is that the stuff that seals the light was still hard as hell.

i didnt have any problems when i put mine in the oven...i only set it at 200-degrees though

i had mine in for 50 seconds at 390C and took them out, werent too hot but the sealant came off with some prying
sorry to hear this man, i can imagine how id feel in your position

Same thing happened with my OEM headlights. At least yours weren't OEM...
