Turning off the daytime running light??
Hi there, wondering if I could turn off the daytime running light. Which fuse should I pull out? Cheers.

It's more complicated than that. Alot more complicated. The dealer can turn it off for you, since there's no law stating that the system is required.

I have mine off in my car, as i have 350z hid in my car
. To turn the drl off you need to go underneath the dash to the fuseboard and find where it says drl lights, and pull it. It is a 7.5 amp fuse. This will stop your drl light from comming on and from them comming on period

do you live in canada? or have a car that has drl? Cause the vehicles in the USA are not equipped with drl. Did you go underneath the dash? Its underneath where the steering wheel is, if it didnt work, you probably pulled out the wrong one. And to answer the othe question, no there is nothing else tied to the drl. If you pull the fuse, that acts as if the current went wacky in there and the fuse blew, resulting in no power being fed to the drl. And yes, your high beams still work.
The drl is a unit that feeds 1.3% of your actuall high beam power to light up during the day, also, by pulling the drl, you save your bulbs life by not having to burn that bulb.
