I just bought a pair of APC bulb for my bro birthday... He got an 00 SI...

they're good!

damn it! they got the same output as my Sylvania silverstar...and it costs less than half of it...

APC's also 4000K....if ur lookin for an OEM change, go get APC...

do you know how much it costs?

GOD DAMN, it's only $15 for two bulbs.....(a pair)

nb: F*** that 00 SI's driver side headlight!!! it's pretty hard to install new bulb...compared to our 7th gen...

APC is crap. I bought side sidemarkers and the plastic turned yellow after a few months. Those bulbs probably won't last a month.

APC replacement bulbs themselves are actually pretty good. The rest of their products are **** though. I have had and still have APC headlight bulbs. They are really bright and have lasted longer than any other replacement bulb I have used.

i bought it for $14.76 (something) in Wal-Mart! I suggest u guys to look at it.
Same color as SilverStar. Same brightness.

EDIT: erh...i've to admit...they're kinda different...
the APC kinda yellowish....well, a bit...cmon, for $15, still bang for the buck.

I THINK, this is caused by the housing....the high-beam in my bro's SI....they're kinda low compared to my '02 civic.....

probably the housing...that caused the APC looks bit "less powered" than my silverstar...

neva neva buy APC--dont even consider it-- go w/ silverstars they rock man their bright-nice-and the manufacture of the silverstars are made by the same company OEM Honda bulbs use. Sylvania. The only reason why silverstars are hella more expensive is QUALITY..QUALITY.. Thats why a APC cold air-intake is cheaper than a Spoon Air filter because of all the workmanship and dyno runs and most of all QUALITY......QUALITY make up the price and ull love ur self in the long run w/ the cheap **** will die out

I think tinted bulbs are just that...tinted bulbs.
I don't think it matters what brand you buy it'll be the same risk.
Alot of people here at first bought expensive PIAA bulbs and they burnt out within months while some have had cheap APC's for years without problems.

In my opinion silverstars are expensive because they are DOT approved.
