Hi,
I am about to change the transmission fluid on the car myself. But I am running into some confusion as to which fluid I should get.
In a few places I have checked:
http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/diy-h...e-atf-diy.html
https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Honda.../dp/B0089LSMSE
It seems to recommend ATF-DW1 transmission fluid.
But according to the manual (I downloaded one a few years ago for my car, as I don't have a physical manual with my car, so maybe I have the wrong manual?), it says to use ATF-Z1?
So I am not sure which ATF to get?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: 09 Civic LX-S Auto Transmission Change questions
ATF Z-1 was officially replaced by ATF DW-1 several years ago, around 2011.
That's the only fluid Honda has for automatics now.
