Hey everyone...my 2003 Civic EX coupe with a 1.7L engine has a small oil leak beginning and it appears to be from where around the camshaft seal at the back side of the engine below the valve cover..from what my mechanic can tell....Does anyone have any knowledge of that gasket or O ring?? Much thanks!! trying to keep my Civic in great shape...

Glad you found my post helpful! It should just pop out. If it doesn't, you might have the same issue I did with the wrong type of plug. If that's the case, you'll have to remove the valve cover and rocker rail to get it out.

Thanks Ray!!! I've shared this with my mechanic...he's a great guy and always does what's best..what's right...which is good.

Now I've gotta find motor mounts...some are starting to fail..not all...but man do they cost a ton through the dealer...but I won't use after market because I know they're not right... just gotta try to find a deal...
