IMPORTANT Question for my Car!!!

I have a problem. I have a problem with my transmission, and I am done with my 36k warranty. Now, does anyone know how to reset the mileage on my car, so it could be under the 36k warranty. Or if anyone has any type of idea, please help. Thanks a lot!!!

1. Illegal
2. Unfair
3. hmmmm..... if you really want to, you could try swapping the gauge cluster with one w/ less than 36k miles.

How many miles do you have right now? Sometimes if you're a little over 36k, honda will still service a transmission at "good will" (yes, laugh now!)

Well dude, I don't think it's fair to the dealership that you are trying to pull a fast one on them. You got what you paid for (a Honda Civic with a 36k warranty on it). Now you are past that and your agreement is done. I say just pay the loot necessary to fix it. MAYBE if it's JUST over 36k, you can try to talk them into "I didn't have time to bring it in last week" and you might get at least a decent deal. I dunno. But yeah, you should expect that anything with a warranty will break down as soon as the warranty expires.
