Don't know about it being the best but nothing has been stolen since installing my VIper 300 model, plus it has a cool indiglo armed indicator.

i have the clifford g4, very affordable, nice setup. if thieves want your car, they'll get it, alarm or not. my insurance premiums drop by the same amount whether you have a $200 or a $2000 alarm.

i agree with dragoon, its totally true. All alarms do the same thing when the go off "HELP IM BEING JACKED UP HELP" thats about it with the more pricey alarms the reason why they are more expensive is because you just get more options. Like the ag4 from clifford has intellistart and a bunch of little nick nack sensors which help deter theives from even coming close to your car. If your looking for something affordable like the matrix rs3 i got one brand new fs its 266$ shipped. Its the 2 way pager alarm. Or the clifford solaris for 250$, other than that its just really preference man. check out directed.com all those brand alarm companies are now the same or one but they are all good alarms HTH

alarm is ALL about install. you have a $150 alarm installed extreemly well, you have a KILLER alarm.

MUCH better than the $600 alarm you bought and had slopped in there.

the installation is by far much MUCH more critical than the brain or sensors.
