hey all. just a quick selfish kinda question. i remember when this site had only 4 categories, the most popular forums listed on the main page of this site. i didnt even have my civic yet when i had first came to this site. i wasnt a member but i had such an intrest in the car that i had to know more about it. this site convinced me to get the car. i signed up a month after the purchase of the car on my birthday when i got my own computer on may 10, 2001. things happened and i moved out. i posted very few times, 28, so the search says. i didnt know much about computers then. i wasnt able to locate my password when i got things back together. in a rush i ended up resigning under this name. a year and some change later. sorry for the long story, but basically what im looking for is to make me, civicmandan, but have the date joined as it was when i was dan. i just feel that that counts for something ya know? though i dont post much, im always checking it whenever the computer is turned on. i wanna be an OLD G!!

Actually... I can do this... Make the Dan account into the CivicManDan account. How's that sound? That is, I'de change the nick name of the Dan account into the CivicManDan nickname. Then you'de have the older joined date. I couldn't correct the post count though. You'de have 28 instead of the 100+ that you have now. Although I could maybe ask Derek if he could combine the two post counts into one...

grey, that would be real cool if you could do me that favor. i really dont care at all about the post count. its the date joined that i wish i had. no reason i guess, at least not one that i can describe. just to say that i have been a member since "back in the day". if its time consuming or anything dont even bother. but im sure you understand what im getting at. thanks for your time.
btw. i would like to remain civicmandan. i would just want the date from the "Dan" account.

Yep, it would change the member ID number too. Okay, ready? Respond to this thread once more and I'll do it. You won't be able to log in to CivicManDan since I'll have to change that name to CivicManDan2. Then I'll change the name of Dan to CivicManDan. Then I'll update the e-mail from CivicManDan2 to CivicManDan. Then I'll reset the password and you should get the new password to the new CivicManDan account. Okay?
