IN DASH MONITOR /DVD PLAYER??
my old setup was i had the pioneer premiere deh-p940mp player running the pioneer 7300 dvd in dash monitor with built in dvd player...for those not familiar...but i had to sell my tv...and i am looking to get another one.....should i get the same tv...again? should i get a new setup? if anyone knows of some good screens such as the pioneer please post..i am looking around..but haven't really found anything good..plus the 7300 are dirt cheap now......but they are getting pretty played out here..so i want something different..but if nothing comes up...back to the pioneer....oh yeah reason for selling...it was bought used...and not sure how much life was left in it..so got rid of it...while value was still high.....
If you liked your old one and it worked well then I would stay with it. If you don't, I would highly recommend Alpine. Alpine is not a touch screen though. I dunno if Pioneer was but I prefer not to have greasy fingers touching my monitor and glaring in the sun.
I've got the Kenwood KVT911DVD. It's a touch screen navigation ready monitor with a built in TV tuner as well as a DVD/CD player. I paid about $2400 from Crutchfield and installed it myself. I think it's a very nice piece of equipment and well worth the money.

I have the Pioneer Premiere P7300DVD, and now Pioneer has a brand new In-Dash DVD/TV that they just came out with. I would save 1200, and get that! But thats just my $.02
But i do love my P7300 =)

Oh, and by the way. Click on over to Pioneer Electronics for more information on their new stuff. And pricing. Even though their prices are always 200-300$ more than what you will actually pay.
PS- thecameraclub.com has car audio for dirt cheap.

Pioneer is great. I have the 7300 myself. I work at Best Buy so I bought all high end monster cable stuff for my picture. Do you guys who have the Pioneer actually use the center speaker? I didn't even connect mine, you think it's worth it? If I were to plug it in, how would I set it up?
The new Panasonic 9200 is a strong monitor.....7" screen, MP3, Dolby Digital and DTS, TV Tuner, fully motorized, it iwll let you take a shot from a movie and use like a Desktop. I think its a strong unit. It also looks hot with the black finish.
