i dont think you can "slam it on its nuts" with that kit. alot of air ride for our cars have been having trouble lowering the front a whole lot.. but IF the kit did lower the car that much, you can probably get up to a 45 series tire... but ya you would have to gut out the front fender well as the tire would be laying on it if you didnt... i personally would go with 215-40-17. 205-40-17 looks too thin.
n i'm guessing your getting the kit from kmwperformance.. civicpunker got the same kit. the price isnt that badd considering thats basically the "top of the line". bags all around cost 1000, valves 400, 2 compressers about 500.. thats already 1900....

check this vic on hydro

she probably couldnt slam the front cause of what i said... the tires are already laying on the fender well.. not sure what tires she has but she has 17s.. but ya maybe its better to go with 205-40-17 so that you could drop it a lil bit more without gutting the fenders...

by gutting it do you mean i am gunna have to cut a whole in it, you saw trhe pictures of the chick that has hydro's, i want my car to lay that low when i am at a show or something but i wouldn't even drive 5 mph that low, how low do you think i can get it to lay without gutting the fender well
i have 3500 dollars right now, do you think it would be worth it to get airride and 17's or to get springs, a body kit, and all that - i walla be unique and with as little amout of people that have airride now i would consider it unique - civicpunker do you think the kit is well worth the money, would you recomend me getting it? is there anyone else on this website that have airbags - i thought i saw another EBP car with them but i do not rememebr the name?
thats the same kit that i got and i love it. i have 17's with 204/40 tires and it tucks a tiny bit. i love the way it sits when its down cause its lower that u can drive but it doesnt look all ghettoed out if u know what i mean. its a great kit for the price and its pretty quick. ask mex and simplyslb how it performs!
oh yeah 2low4u has airbags too, his looks like he cant go all the way down in the front two, hey civicpunker when you lay it down all the way do you rear tires have negative alightment real bad like in the picture the was already posted in this thread, also has anyone else seen the kit at excentixsauto.com for our cars, what do yall think of it, by the way thats for the help civicpunker and VNlilMAN

well like i said, problem with most bags is getting the front to even touch the fender well.. most of the kits i've seen only drop the front slightly above the tires...
there have been a couple people here with bags, probably atleast 5. someone just recently posted about his car being on bags.. he couldnt slam the front but he was getting a new set of bags that does, not sure if he got them yet.
when i mean gut the fenders, i mean to just take the whole thing out.. a guy name torreto(he doesnt come here no more) did this when he had like 225-45-18 tires.. i personally am afraid dirt is going to go into the engine bay or something but he said it was perfectly fine... i suppose you can cut it as well tho.. and no i dont mean the actual fender but the black plastic inside the fender... without gutting the fenders, the max you can drop your car determines on your tires and the type of air kit you have.
you'd be suprised to see how many people are on bags now.. i was at a car show and probably 1 out of 5 cars were on bags. but ya it still is unique and pretty rare on the streets but i personally think its too much money... with 3500 i'd get some 18s(cause nothing smaller then that for me
) body kit and if budget allows, b&gs.. if not gc and konis, if not neuspeed race and konis.
the guy with bags on a ebp is something like choppy or something.. it was a sedan with like 5 monitors and chrome barb wheels.. the owner of lowonair has bags on his civic as well..
check out the air suspension faq a couple companies have posted their products i think..

thanks again and btw civicpunker you said you installed it right, well i am in autotech 2 and so is my friend, do you think we could install in or should i get it done perfessionally, also how long did it take you to install
both the front and back sit evenly, just a little bit of a tuck, like 1/2 inch maybe. and its not like a ridiculous off camber look either, u can hardly tell actually. and thats cool with me cause thats what i like, low but not all bent weird. and yeah i did the install with my brother in laws dad. ask kmw for schematics, its only like 3 pages of big diagrams. once u get it it will all make sense. bascially its a direct strut replacement at all corners, and then its running the airlines from the vavles in the trunk to each bag, and running airlines form the tanks to the valves, and the tanks to the compressors. the compressors are wired directly to the battery, and i just used a distributor block so i can run the compressors and amps off the battery. after all the plumbing then u just have to wire the switch box to the valves, which is real simple. it took 2 days in all. 1 day to replace the struts and then the next day we did all the electrical and plumbing work together. its relatively easy once u see the diagrams. i hope that all helps.

damn my reply before this was all late.. anyways...
"when you lay it down all the way do you rear tires have negative alightment real bad like in the picture the was already posted"
well it doesnt matter what setup you have... if you drop your car that low, of course the wheels are going to tuck in that much.. lower you go, the more it tucks/tilts. you can reduce the tilt by getting a camber kit and aligning it at the height you'll most likely be driving at which is probably like a 2" drop.

im not sure how often u have to charge the batteries but im guessing it depends on how much you use the hydros. air bags are no maintnence once theyre on unless there's a problem, which there isn't as long as they're installed correctly.
