DIY KAMINARI BODY KIT
Yes, I did my bodykit on my own with original help from Grey and later help from Pestlnc. This is the ultimate DIY.
***NOTE*** While Kit was baked, it deformed a little...so I had to form it back . After it moved almost all the way back (I left it tied up for a whole weekend)...it moved about 5"s back, I just used some apoxy, and double sided tape inside the door and now it is mint.

I redid mine for like the 3rd time yesterday. the 2 sided tape keeps on melting, it wont seem to fit perfectly specially on the door step (or whatever u call it), and if i use 2 sided tape on the door step, it keeps on showing up. PLEASE HELP. THNX

I put double sided tape in the door well, then I put apoxy on top of the tape (I didn't really want apoxy all over my car), then I pushed the kit up onto it and clamped it down...the passenger side fit good without any tape or apoxy though...
To reinforce it, I'll probably lift the car and put some self drilling screws in the underside of it.

i tried using super glue. but i was afraid that if i want to take the kit off (in case i wanted to sell/trade it), i would scrape off the paint. when i took off 1 of the sides yesterday, there was a couple of remaining residue of the glue, and y know what? it was kinda hard to take off but it didnt hurt the paint at all. it came off like a dead skin. i might redo mine (again) u waited a whole weekend for the epoxy to dry??? i dont think i have that much time. but ill do what u did. thnx

No, it took about 1hour to completely dry. I had to reshape my kit some so I had it tied up for a weekend .
Just do like I did...put double sided tape down, put apoxy on top of tape, lift kit onto tape/glue....then put clamps on it...you'll need atleast one big clamp...either that or tie up your car like I did mine.
When you take your kit off, just cut the apoxy off. The apoxy won't be on your car, it will only be on the underside of your kit which you can shave off.

oh, yeah. just put the epoxy between the tape and the kit, right? oh yeah, the problem that i have is that the tape keeps on coming off the car; not the tape coming off the kit. if the epoxy thing doesnt work, my last resort is molding the beyatch on the car. how much does that cost? and how long do u think i have to wait if i get it molded?

You could have it rivoted onto your car if you wanted to....Go to Sears, HD, Lowes and buy 3M double sided tape...clean the spot on the car you are going to put in on and make sure its DRY out...don't do it on a moist day...then put the tape on, it wont come off the car.
