my negative camber w/ goldlines
i drive a 01 sedan w/ goldline springs and spc camber kit. I have 205-45-17's on my car. i went to get an alignment today and i found out that have a negative 3 camber on my back tires!! i also have no gap whatsoever in the back. i was told that to get an alignment i needed to lift the back more...he also said that i should go with a 1 inch drop on the back...i know my tires are thick but what should i do? i just bought 4 new tires..45 series...and he suggests i get the pro kit for the back springs...would there be any problem w/ this setup: goldlines up front and pro kit in the back??? also ...is the rear springs for the coupe the same drop? could i get the rear goldline springs for the coupe, or are they the same??? what should i do?? i need my new tires to last..?hopefully the pro kit will help? someone help me!!!!!

205/45 is a relatively thin tire, compared to the 215s and 225s some people use.. I don't see how it couldn't be done, unless you have a very small offset on your rims. just roll your fenders

i already rolled my fenders..i got the shop to do that..they cut out the inner fender and sealed it so it wont rust.....if he adjusts it its only going to have a .5 diff in camber..so its going to be 2.5...i need to lift up the back..the tires tuck in the wheel well....and i need an alignment...so will the eibach pro kits on back work???

ya goldlines have a smaller gap in the rear then the front. thats why i only recommened neuspeed sports for sedans. i think i remember you asking if they would rub or not... prokits would work but the drops not going to be pretty and why spend $200. what you could do it add a "spacer" in the rear springs.. not sure if you installed the springs yourself but... theres a rubber peice on the top perch, familyguy bought another one and put it on the strut to make the rear a little higher. i think it raised the car about .25".

I remember I forgot to put the spacer back in when installing my B+Gs.. you don't have to disassemble the strut to add it, just remove the top bolt, slide it in, and put the bolt back
can be done without jacking up the car.

look at part #12($8 there), familyguy put it in between #9 and #13. not sure if 2 of them would be safe. well it might look ok cause i know on a coupe the prokit gives you like a 3 finger gap. maybe on sedan you get 2.
Call Gold Line @ 877-671-9752. Explain what is happening and I'm sure we can determine (and fix) the problem. You always want to call the manufacturer when you have a problem like this. You may have the incorrect kit for your specific vehicle. Also, the SPC Alignment kit offers up to 4 degrees of adjustment. This will fia (any) alignment issues "if" installed properly. Please give us a call asap.

I just got off the phone with jeff from goldline! It seem that i MIGHT have the coupe springs on the rear...so he is sending out a new set of rear springs for my sedan!! i also forgot to mention i have a box in the back with 1 12" and an amp attached to the box. it seems that this might be weighin the back of the car down, since it sits behind the springs! he is sending me the springs today..should be here next week..i hope this fixes it...the people from goldline have the BEST customer service!!! ill keep you guys posted
