blah, here - lowered 1.5

ok, i searched and i really haven't found an answer to this. I have stock wheels and tires, used Goldline lowering springs to lower 1.5 inches in front and back. The car looks great but there is very little wheel gap left. When I turn my steering wheel to the right very far something squeeks and it sounds just like the right tire is rubbing. The left tire doesn't make this noise?

#1) Why would only lowering it 1.5 inches drop it this close? (I guess cuz of stock wheels and tires)

#2) What wheel/tire combo will give me the best results (good drop, no rubbing)

#3) My camber seems to be a little off in the back (especially back right). It's not really noticeable, the car rides great but will I see any negative consequences to the camber being off. I mean 180 is alot of money to spend on a camber correction kit.

#4) thanks for locking it instead of moving it if you didn't like where it was

Thanks for the help.

Eric

your cambers always gonna be a litle off no matter what but its worth it to get the kit, or at least get an alignment. in the end its cheaper then getting a new set of tires all the time. and my car is dropped about 1.5 inches on skunk2 coilovers, and i have 17's with 205/40 tires and theres absolutely no rubbing and just a tiny bit of fender gap. perfect drop in my opinion though. so i hope this helps!

Do you have camber kits installed?
