anyone have a problem wit their check engine light coming on after replacing the factory header and cat? i put an hp racing header and high flow cat on and two days later my malfunction light has come on and stayed on??? if anyone has any stories like these let me know. maybe something just went wrong at the same time and the header has nothing to do with it.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Your ECU is getting a bad reading from your cat since it's not the stock one. This is why the check engine light is coming on. In order to get it to go off, you need to get an O2 simulator. You can get these at the following link. O2 Simulator

Thats for the Maintanance Required light not the Check Engine light. You can reset the Check Engine light, but it will come back on until the problem is fixed.

i had the same problem when the muffler shop cut off my cat . but i got it welded back on so its all good
