Rep Power: 318 the rims and spoiler aren't that great looking, and i was never really fond of the looks of the neon, but 215hp turbo'd and less than 6 sec 0-60 is pretty darn good. bash dogde all you want, its a good company. my dad still has his 1993 dodge grand caravan le, nearly 10 years old and 115k miles, and its still running great, no engine problems, no tranny problems, its a good vehicle. for a car that gives an rsx-s a real run for its money, we shouldn't call it lame.
p.s. - no, i wouldn't buy it, i dont like the looks of the neon, i doubt i ever will, but if dodge puts a turbo in the stratus, i would consider it, thats a nice looking car.

Rep Power: 0 I was gettin ready to flame when I heard a neon turbo charged... But actually it looks kinda sophisticated, reminds me of the new beetle from the front a bit. Better deal than an SI that's for sure.
You know, all you people who bash it cus' its a Neon. Do you realize how many people bash people with Civics for putting performance mods on them? Yes, you half-wittingly tell yourselves that its an econobox car, but then you treat it as though its not. ...Then you laugh at Neon owners for doing the same exact thing.
I think many follow a double standard here. Neon = econobox. Civic = econobox. To condone some econoboxes for having performance mods while having your own econobox with mods on it makes no sense.
I don't see why there's a need to flame that neon. Its tastefully done, and its faster than your car. If you're going to bash it cus' its a Neon, perhaps you should look at your own car and realize its a ULEV Civic.

Actually, I think I'd take one, just for the "bang for your buck" factor. Then again, I could get a chipped GTI 1.8T and not have to deal with all the Neon jokes
