2016 Honda Civic Lx (Lights show up when Car is Hot(
I am in desperate help with my 2016 Honda civic lx. I bought it off an auction lot in of December of last year. It only had damage to back and I had that fix, however the car had a lot of electrical issues that I had fix. The car was from Massachusetts which I think was snowy because the car was pretty corroded in the hood. Regardless, the electrical issues were fixed. However for the last month the car when in the sun for too long would give issues. When I start the car, several lights would flash on the board, a beeping sound would start and I would be unable to use my A/C. This only happens when the car is in the sun. If the day is cloudy or raining, I can drive the car with no issues and those lights would never appear. However if it's hot the lights would flash on the board. The car can drive with the lights on the board but I won't be able to use my ac and the beep noise will continue. At first I could have turn off the car and turn it back on and the lights will go away, but it no longer helps the situation anymore. Does anyone know what could be the issue?

To add to this, check battery connections, too. My battery connections from the factory were a hair looser than snug, and they caused the Christmas Tree effect. Same lights, even.

But did this happen when your car was in the sun? I can drive the car find in cloudy weather or rainy weather and it never shows up ever. But If I park the car for work (their is no shady areas I can park) and leave it in the sun and then head back out for lunch..Those lights will lights will light up.

I wasn't arguing. Was just asking if they had a similar issue with the sun. I apologize if it seem like I was arguing. Yesterday when I asked the question, it was a holiday in my country so I couldn't carry it to my mechanic. But today on my lunch break I will carry it to him and have him check the grounds and battery terminal to see if this resolve this issue. Thank you.

no issues, it's just that it is easy to check them at home.
Just unbolt/clean terminals and tighten back, same for grounds.
Did not know Bahamas had a holiday at same time as memorial day here in USA

I'm not car savvy so I'll get my uncle to check since it can be the process of elimination. And yup, while the US has Memorial day, we have Whit Monday. 😄

Yep. Happened like.. 5-6 months after I got my car. Got it new in November when it was still cool out. April-May is when Vegas starts to heat up, and that's when I got the lights (and then once again after I didn't fully snug down the connections after doing an HID relay harness install). Figured I'd offer the cheapest (read: free) check/fix, and if that doesn't work, then proceed from there.
When it happened to me, I stopped by a dealership to see if they could check it since it was still under warranty. I was quickly reminded why I trust like 5 people under the hood of my car, myself being one of them, because they wanted to charge a $150 diag fee. That said, I popped my hood and did it myself in their parking lot, while the salesmen asked what I was doing and watched me work (because I'm slightly neurotic and carry a full toolkit in my car). Literally just took off both battery terminals, waited a minute, reconnected them snugly, then went for a 15 minute drive. Lights went out on their own. Small electrical problems cause a lot of lights for no reason on these newer cars.
