D17A2 Swap into 1990 HB
I'm looking for any info about swapping a D17A2 from a 03 civic into my 1990 Civic HB Standard if anyone can help me. What would it take to do. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

it does not have a dizzy nor a place where you can bolt it in.
ECU and sensors will be the biggest items you need to consider and ends up expensive. more than the engine
if you choose to use the 03 ECU, it will start looking for the chipped car key and more headaches ensue

For the amount of time, effort, and money that engine really isn't worth it. Look into b and k swaps

If you want a cheap swap, look into some of the older D-series engines. Basically every D15 or D16 drops right into it, and are very respectable powerplants. The D17 is an absolute pain comparatively.
