radiator coolant fan switch

I have a 2005 Honda Civic
I have replaced the radiator, radiator cap, thermostat and fan switch sensor and temp sensor.
My problem is when I replaced the fan sensor switch everything was working fine drove it to work, the next day when I turned the key the fan came on I replaced the fan switch sensor again and worked fine again drove to work and the next day turned key and fan came on again what would cause the fan switch sensor to not to work again ,do I have something shorting the fan switch sensor out.I am running out of Ideas any help with solving this problem would really help thanks.

Re: radiator coolant fan switch

Are they super cheap aftermarket replacements?

Disconnect the switch, check continuity across the two pins. Do you have it?

Re: radiator coolant fan switch

They are the duralast sensor $32.00 not sure if that was the cheap ones and I do have continuity on both the sensors the old one and the new one they work until the car has run for a while then they just burn out.
