2015 Civic LX Hesitation/Jerking PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

When accelerating from a stop or slow speed, car would hesitate/jerk. No CEL or warning lights. Mechanic was moving stuff around in engine and found a tear in the intake boot. In order to see the tear, he had to squeeze the boot. The crack was in one of the creases. I attached a picture of the part

Replacing this boot does nothing for fixing the hesitation. It is however a known part that needs to be replaced every few years due to poor quality rubber used.

I have a 2013 honda civic lx coupe. It kind of sputters when taking off slowly from a stop but when I give it a little gas it stops. Any ideas. Just had fluids checked, filter changed, fuel intake cleaner and some other stuff O rielys sold me because my check engine light came on saying it had something to do with the cat, it was the cat.

Hi there
I have exactly the same issue and I have done so many things but none seem to fix this issue. Wondering if you are able find and rectify this annoying issue.
