2003 Civic ALternator bracket top bolt




top bracket is stripped and cannot hold standard bolt. got a new bolt from fastenal and lock nut. i have raise engine to put bolt in. where can i get the bracket to put a new one on? has anyone done this? can i buy this new? comments/help please and thank you

Be careful at salvage yard, I think the coupe and the sedan use a different bracket .

01-05 looks like all versions should use the same bracket #

If I were in your shoes I would fix the current bracket with a time-sert. When done properly, it will be stronger than new.
