****, stripped a bolt....

alright, i personally did not strip a bolt but i have one! the upper bolt to my alternator is smooth as a baby's....well, you know. anyway, after removing the power steering reservoir i am still unable to remove the damn bolt (it's too long)!! there is something that looks like a retainer on the right side of the alternator holder but it is not that big but still, i cannot push the bolt in or pull it out. any ideas on how to remove this bolt??? thanks!!

hhmm yeah the top bolt on the alternator wont come out without removing the large black piece thats mounted to the block. if you untighten the bolt all the way out it just hits the wheel well? er whatever it is right there. yeah so uhm remove that mount so you can take it out and replace it. goodluck
