Tires/rims QUESTION 215/45/17 on a lowered 2k1 ???
Hi everyone...
Ok my car is lowered with H&r sport about 1.5in drop .. and i want to get tires that are 215/45/17's
WILL there be ANY rubbing of the tires????
i was recommended to get 205/45/17 but they cost a bit more than the 215/45/17 but lets take that out of the picture

So anyways... will the 215/45/17's rub/hit anthing while i turn or do any severe driving ???????
THX !!!
Btw .. i did search .. but the people that were talking about this never said anything about lowered car.. so i had to make a new post .. THX !!
GIVE ME OPINIONS .... THx
One more thing .. with the kit/lowered car .. i DO NOT want smaller diameter tires than stock 15inch BECAUSE i'm like 3in from the floor already.. so that is my problem
THX !

OK, I have the same question, but with a twist. My rims have a 42mm offset.
So: 215/45R15 + 17x7x42mm + Koni + Eibach Sportline (or H&R Sport) = Rub or no rub?
Thanks!

I've got 215/45/17 on mine. With stock suspension you can kind of see how much wheel gap I have in the first pic. The second pic is a close up of the rear can really see the wheel gap there. My guess would be that you wouldn't have any problems.

Dude!
I just put on my 18" Konig Diva's and they are awesome and you wont have problems at all with those tires it will all work out fine! I would say to go with the 215/40/17 or spend somemore cash if you have it and go for a 205! that would be your best bet!
