Why Don't 8th & 9th Have Separate Sub Forum ?
Re: Why Don't 8th & 9th Have Separate Sub Forum ?
I'm guessing it's because since the 9th gen is new enough that not as many people have them. That, and most active people here have a 6th or 7th gen Civic.

I think creating new forum areas may be up to the site owners.
IDK, I'm just a lowly moderator....And I own a 9th gen.

9th gen are not really a new generation - they are a refresh of the 8th gen.
Also, could you not slack on people's rights?
1-5th gen are bundled together, even if their cars are quite different in between generations.
fighting only for your rights does not get ground, especially since most of the mods on stuff are common among these 8th and "9th" gen, while other members have much less than you.

This site used to be a 7th gen site for the most part. Own an 8th now.....but find the 9th to be pretty nice from what I've seen. Those reviews sure made Honda do massive amounts of revisions, not even sure there will be a mid model refresh, or what it could involve.
I need to take a 9th for a spin sometime soon (yet to experience)
Would like to see the HR-V..... but that may be a while in coming.

The mid model change would be 2015+ if correct.
2012-2017, with recent change to 6 year cycle.
Maybe the CVT is it.... they always change the front markers from yellow lens to clear/w amber bulb. And the front bumper, but that has changed with each model year on 9th gens.
Still not a chance of a REAL HORN !!!! you can bet.
