wiring harness
wiring harness
Hey im completely new to Honda's so I need some help here. I have a 94 civic a/t it has a d16y7 in it and a p28 a52 ecu anyways im getting the vtec solenoid check engine code but its not a vtec and has the y7 head on it so its not a mini me swap I did notice by the dizzy there's 2 wires coming out of the harness there that are blue and black with no connector and 1 single wire with a connector on it. Do these wires go to the vtec solenoid and oil pressure? Is it possible that the harness that is on it is vtec? and is the p28 a vtec ecu? Any advice thanks guys

Re: wiring harness
If the engine has no VTEC valve, yet your computer is throwing up VTEC codes, I see 2 choices:
You need a different computer, or
you need a different cylinder head (with VTEC) and fix the wiring so it will work.
