Help with shift knob thread size?!

So I came across the shift knob I have been looking for exactly and it's on sale, it's for my hubby for Xmas but I don't know if it will fit on his short shifter. It is a blackworks knob 10x1.5....will that fit??? It's for a 96 civic ek.. Not sure what the shifter is? Just that it's a short one.. and can't ask him because it would defeat the purpose of being a gift:_please:

moved your thread out of the DIY - not a DIY, it's a question, and out of the 8/9th gen (96 is a 6th gen) section.
