Power Window Motor Keeps Going Bad
Power Window Motor Keeps Going Bad
Hello all,
I have a 2001 Civic EX 2DR, and my passenger power window keeps going bad. I replaced the motor about a month ago, and now it's stopped working again.
I pulled off the door panel, disconnected the motor and checked the voltage coming from the switch and it read 12+ volts, so I don't think its anything else.
What could be causing the motor to go bad so quickly? Is it bad luck, or could something else be wrong? This was a motor ordered from a Honda dealership too.

Re: Power Window Motor Keeps Going Bad
make sure the window will slide up and down easily without the motor attached, if it is hard to push up and down, the motor might be having a hard time and overworking
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
