eibach springs on 2002 sedan

Are people really satisfied with the eibach springs on there sedans or do they wish they had done adjustable height coilovers? Trying to decied between the two. Leaning more tords the sport springs cuse I just want a 1.5 inch drop. But I don't want a saggin *** end. If the rear sits to low than I will go with adjustable coilovers. I tried to look at the pics here but they don't show up on the page. Some insite of peoples opinions would be nice, or some pics of a civic sedan with the eibach sport springs on it would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: eibach springs on 2002 sedan

i have the prokit with tokico hp shocks on my sedan and am very happy. mild drop (2 finger gap), car looks and corners better, and no sag at all (due to the upgraded shocks). just do not lower the car on stock shocks or it will sag like crazy and you will bottom out over every bump. i cant believe i rode lowered on stock shocks for nearly 3 yrs. finally had the tokicos put on when i got money and its a whole new car. been riding on them for almost 4 yrs now and they show no signs of sag or wear. dont forget to get a camber kit too when lowering, or you will not be able to get the car aligned.

Re: eibach springs on 2002 sedan

I recently lowered my 02 Sedan on on eibach pro kit. I will agree with Gearbox if you get the springs get the shocks. I am running factory shocks now and I can't really see any sag but I have a feeling it will in a short amount of time. I would go for the camber kits for sure.

I'm running a eibach pro kit 17" wheels and a 215/45/17 and I am very happy with it for the most part but hey it's like any other car project it's never done until you trade it for something else..lol

Re: eibach springs on 2002 sedan

I know I'm bringing up an old thread but I need to know what is a camber kit really? What is it for and is it really mandatory to have one when lowering a car even just a little, like one inch? What do you mean when you say you can't get the car aligned without one?

I've just replaced my stock worn out struts/shocks with Tokico HP and it's a bit more stiffer, but it's still bouncing a bit too much for my taste in the rear due to the stock springs.

Thanks

Re: eibach springs on 2002 sedan

the camber kit is replacement parts for the rear arms and front bolts. its needed because the stock parts will not be able to adjust enough on a lowered car even one inch. and then you just eat tires all the time because the wheels look like / instead of like | and no way to make them straight without the adjustable camber kit.
